Oh my goodness, it still doesn’t feel like it’s my birthday, especially my 28th one! Since we were in Dallas for the first half of my birthday, it really didn’t feel real. My favorite part of my birthday is giving myself a major cheat day with food. Today, we had Whataburger at the airport for breakfast and Taco Bell for lunch (whoops!). Who knows what’s for dinner. Tyler said we could go out to eat, but I’m so tired from this weekend I think I’m going to ask for a raincheck and go out Friday instead.
In honor of my birthday, I wanted to share a few things on the top of my birthday wishlist. I think I’m going to combine all of birthday money together to buy one large item, like a new purse, but if I were going the individual gift route, these are what would be at the top!
Also, how adorable is my newest Chicwish sweater? I love the heart pattern. I definitely don’t limit prints like this to Valentine’s Day. If you haven’t been able to tell, Chicwish is one of my go to places to shop for affordable, trendy items. Seriously, they have the cutest things if you haven’t checked them out before!
What’s on my Birthday Wishlist:
To start it off, this is the splurge item on my list. Also, I do have the black gucci belt so I know it might seem a little weird that the brown one is at the top of my list, but with fall being here, I wear a lot of sweaters and cardis that look so cute with the addition of a little Gucci. I tend to wear a lot of brown boots in the fall so I know I would get so much use from the brown one.
I try to stick to only buying new beauty products when I run out of old ones so I love getting fun sets as a gift so I can try new products without feeling guilty. If you can’t tell by my picks, lipstick is my favorite beauty item to splurge on.
Growing up, I always loved that my birthday falls during a new season. It was always the perfect time to ask for a new fall outfit. I have quite a few pairs of shoes on my wishlist right now like the ones I linked above.
Okay, this is another splurge item, and I am hoping to buy preowned ones with birthday or Christmas money one day. I usually shop on Poshmark for preowned purchases like this. If you’re lucky enough to get to buy these new, I am loving the color combinations I linked in the above photos.
You can never go wrong with jewelry. I’m including some options that are more affordable and also a few more expensive pieces that I am definitely not getting right now but maybe one day. A girl can dream, right?
I really wanted to create this post in case anyone is shopping for gifts right now and needs help, or to help those of you that might be creating your own wishlists. I hope you were able to get some new ideas from my post! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo!
