I shared all of the products I already use and love in my daily makeup routine post so next up are all of the products I’m buying from the Sephora Sale. I always add items to my wishlist and then wait for the sale to buy everything. This year it is only happening twice, during spring and the holidays. Depending on your Sephora Beauty Insider status, you can receive 10%-20% off your purchase with the code “springsave”. The details are:
- Rouge: 20% off, 4/17-5/01
- VIB: 15% off, 4/21-4/29
- Insider: 10% off, 4/23-4/27
Here’s a little bit about why I selected each item:
Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm: I love a good lip balm to keep my lips soft. I use a lip mask at night, but this looks like a great daytime option. I also love that it’s marked “Clean at Sephora”.
Olaplex Hair Products: I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews on Olaplex. I’m almost out of my current shampoo so I thought it would be a great time to pick up a new one. I also got the Olaplex Hair Perfector which is a mask that strengthens hair and reduces breakage. I’ve heard so many positive reviews on this mask. Lastly, I ordered their hair oil. With my extensions, it’s especially important that I’m using a hair oil on my ends every day.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation: I’m running low on my current favorite foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear), so I figured it would be a great time to test something new. The description says it’s a hybrid skincare-foundation that reduces the appearance of wrinkles while also providing the standard benefits of a foundation. The reviews are amazing and all say you look airbrushed and flawless like the name says. I got shade 7 Warm. You can use the shade finder to see your best match.
Herbivore Coco Rose: I’ve always been a fan of Herbivore products. They’re all “Clean at Sephora” too! I ran out of the last body scrub I had so I wanted to try a new one. I like that this scrub has coconut oil in it to provide moisture in addition to helping exfoliate like a standard scrub.
Laura Mercier Concealer: I think Sephora stopped carrying the Cover FX concealer I love so I wanted to try something new. The description says this concealer perfects, hydrates and blurs. I like that this one hydrates because I find some concealers to be too drying.
Kerastase Magic Night Serum: I’m really excited about an overnight hair serum. I put oil in my hair each morning but being able to have an overnight, leave-in treatment sounds amazing. It helps with dryness, shine, damage, split ends and breakage which I could use all the help with!
Milk Melatonin Overnight Lip Mask: It will be hard to top the Laneige Lip Mask that I use each night, but this product is marked Clean at Sephora and the Laneige one is not so I’m going to give it a try. It only has 10 reviews, but an average of 4.5 stars so I think it looks like a good alternative if you’re looking for cleaner products.
Biossance Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Mask: So far I’ve only tried one product from Biossance, but I absolutely love it. They are a great clean beauty brand. This mask is a triple-change peel, exfoliator and mask with a hydrating formula. It will brighten, polish, and smooth skin while diminishing the look of lines, discoloration and enlarged pores. The reviews are great, and people say they saw a difference after one use.
Tarte Fake Awake Eyeliner: A trick for making your eyes look bigger is to line the inner rim with a nude or white eyeliner. I recently discovered that nude can look even better than white eyeliner for this trick so I’m super excited to try this eyeliner. You can also brighten up the inner corners and brow bone by using this. There’s a built-in smudger to help blend it in too!
Bite Beauty Power Move Lip Crayon: I love Bite Beauty. They’re another great clean beauty brand. The reviews say this is is a creamy formula with long wear that is not drying. I got colors Leche and Tatin to try.
Contouring Brush Set: If you couldn’t tell from my makeup tutorial, I am in desperate need of new brushes. This set is more affordable than a lot of the other options on their site and includes a tutorial for how to use each brush. It has you covered from bronzing to highlighting to blush and more.
Tower 28 Jelly Lip Gloss: I’m really loving my Kosas Wet Lip Oil, and this seems like a great, less expensive alternative. It has oils in it to moisturize and says it is non-sticky. I ordered color XOXO which is a sheer pink.
Drunk Elephant Scalp Scrub: I’ve never tried a scalp scrub before but after reading about it, I think I’ve been missing out. This one helps to dissolve dead skin cells and product buildup. You apply it before showering and can use it 1-2 times per week. I do have issues with product buildup sometimes so I’m hoping this can help fix that!
Skinfix Eczema & Hand Repair Cream: Since we’re washing our hands more frequently now, I wanted a lotion specifically for hands. The before & after picture for this product are incredible & it also helps with eczema.
Drunk Elephant Baby Facial: I’ve been meaning to buy this for over a year now. I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things. It is an AHA/BHA mask to resurface skin to improve its texture and tone. It also helps with dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles. I always love Drunk Elephant products so I’m excited to try a new one.
Charlotte Tilbury Mini Pillowtalk Lipstick & Liner: Okay, so I didn’t actually buy this one because I own the full size versions, but I wanted to include it in case you haven’t tried it yet. Pillowtalk is the best lip color ever. It’s universally flattering. If you’re hesitant to buy the full size, this mini version is a great way to test it out!
