"The Life of a Showgirl" Inspired Drink

Using the orange and mint green color scheme, sparkles, and overall glitzy theme, I made a drink that's not only delicious, but also totally on brand for "The Life of a Showgirl" album release! This might be my favorite drink I've made to date! I included other versions of the recipe for those who prefer a more spirit forward drink, and there's also a mocktail version as well.

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Citrus juicer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 2 oz fresh mandarin juice
  • 3 oz Prosecco
  • 2 oz blood orange Sanpellegrino
  • 1/2 teaspoon edible orange glitter for garnish, optional
  • 1 Mint sprig for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • In a cocktail shaker, add ice and non-bubbly liquid ingredients - Cointreau and mandarin juice (+ vodka if you're doing spirit forward!). Shake.
  • Strain liquid into martini glass and stir in edible orange glitter.
  • Top with the bubbly ingredients - Prosecco and blood orange Sanpellegrino
  • Garnish with a sprig of mint

Notes

Spirit Forward Version:
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 2 oz fresh mandarin juice
  • 2 oz prosecco
  • 2 oz blood orange Sanpellegrino
  • 1/2 teaspoon edible orange glitter (for garnish, optional)
  • 1 mint sprig (for garnish, optional)
 
Mocktail Version:
  • 2 oz fresh mandarin juice
  • 3 oz lemon lime Olipop (or Sprite!)
  • 3 oz blood orange Sanpellegrino
  • 1 teaspoon edible orange glitter (for garnish, optional)
  • 1 mint sprig (for garnish, optional)
