Summer Vacation Outfits

A beach vacation and warm weather is such a therapeutic combo. My husband and I just got home from an amazing week in Kauai with his parents! I’ve also gone to Italy recently so I decided to share my outfits with you. A relaxing vacation was much needed! Trips are also my favorite excuse for shopping and styling, so today I’m sharing everything I packed and wore while we were in Hawaii and then Italy. I compiled all of my outfits and accessories from my spring Hawaii trip for summer vacation outfit ideas!

Bikinis And Coverups

Swim coverups have been an obsession of mine this year! I’m loving the crochet and lace trends for the beach or pool.

I love to buy a couple new swimsuits before a vacation. I love one pieces and bikinis equally, and I love coverups even more.

I love coverups whether its a dress or a matching set.

More Coverups:

I love swim coverups, and I have found some really cute sets and dresses this year. Amazon has the best affordable options! They’re so perfect for walking around the resort or going to the beach! Revolve and Princess Polly had really unique cover ups that were amazing quality.

More Bikinis:

Revolve always has the best quality swim, and I especially loved this green one on the left. Amazon also has so many great affordable options, these three in the middle were all under $35!

More One Pieces:

I’ve been loving one pieces this year and I’ve found so many cute ones on Amazon and Revolve! This green one from Revolve has been a favorite of mine.

Trendy Outfits

Summer vacations are so fun to dress for, I love planning all of my outfits in advance! I did a lot of shopping for this trip and I came up with some trendy summer vacation outfits that should be easy to replicate!

More Tops:

This spring, I found some really cute tops! I’ve been loving flowy tops and floral details. Princess Polly and Reformation have some of the cutest tops and I’ve been loving them.

More Maxi Skirts:

I’ve been loving skirts so much this year, especially maxi skirts. This silk one comes in so many colors. This linen skirt for Reformation is so perfect to me and comes in a few more colors too! Long denim skirts have also been a favorite of mine this year with the coastal cowgirl trend.

More Shorts:

I’ve been loving Reformation so much lately. I picked up two pairs of shorts from them this year and they fit so well! The blue denim is so perfect for anything, however, I wore the brown ones to dinner and they were so cute! I also found the cutest sheer shorts from Amazon – so cute as a coverup for the beach or pool.

More Mini Dresses:

I tried to keep the dresses and short skirts limited because I’ve been way more into longer skirts! But I found these cute satin dresses on Princess Polly – and they’re definitely made for shorter girls!

Athleisure Outfits

Hawaii calls for colorful athleisure! I’ve been loving this athletic onesie from Free People movement, I have it in so many colors.

I love this onesie on the left so much, I’ve already ordered it in more colors! Athletic one pieces like these are so easy to throw on; I’m always wearing pieces like in the summer, even if I’m just running errands. I also find outfits like these to be so cute for golf, tennis, or hiking!

Shoes and Accessories

Strappy heeled sandals are so cute for a summer vacation – especially when you’re at a tropical or upscale location.

For accessories, I always pack a couple pairs of neutral heels. I’ve been loving these ones the most lately. These earrings look so similar to the Bottega ones! The crochet bag from Princess Polly also resembles the Prada Raffia bag and holds so much, perfect for the beach.
