“The Tortured Poet’s Department” Inspired Drink -Using Taylor Swift’s Favorite Wine

I’m so excited for Taylor Swift’s newest album release! This weekend, I’m visiting my friends in Chicago so it’s the perfect timing for an album listening party! The drink I’m making for my party is a wine spritz using Taylor Swift’s favorite wine! I hope you enjoy this “The Tortured Poet’s Department” inspired drink.
“The Tortured Poet’s Department” Inspired Drink
Recipe:
- 3/4 cup of Sauvignon Blanc
- 1/4 cup of sparkling water
- 1/2 cup of frozen blackberries and blueberries (optional)
For this wine spritz, we used Taylor’s favorite wine, “Sancerre”, which I found at Pavilions. We added some bubbles with sparkling water, but tonic water can be used instead.
So much fun putting this all together! If you’re having a Taylor Swift Era’s Tour party in the future, save this inspo for the newest TTPD era! I can’t wait to try more Taylor Swift cocktail recipes in the future.
The Setup
For my setup I used 1 inch lace ribbon and 1 inch black satin ribbon to make cute bows around candlesticks! I then used a 1/2 inch black satin ribbon to tie around these vintage looking coupes. Then, I found an old book that was in a “free pile” at a yard sale, and tore out the pages to fit The Tortured Poet’s Department vibe. I looked into some of my Taylor Swift merch from The Era’s Tour and used the cute little era’s papers for an extra touch of decor. Dried rose petals were my final touch of TTPD vibes.
