I love going to a wine tasting experience and I love planning outfits for it almost just as much! There isn’t one answer for what to wear to a winery, because you can wear so many different looks. But typically its flowy dresses, boots, and oversized jackets. Depending on the time of year, a long dress is almost always the perfect outfit. A wide brimmed hat is always a cute touch too, especially if it’s really sunny.

We stayed at Hotel Yountville, and I loved our hotel’s location because it was walking distance to so many restaurants and downtown Yountville! The property was stunning, the rooms were huge, and I loved their pool and spa! We were truly living the vineyard dream with our floral dresses and wine glasses.

It’s important to be warm so you’re enjoying your wine tasting without worrying about the cold! I always pack extra layers for a trip just in case the weather changes, so don’t forget to check the weather before you go and pack the right clothes to stay warm – or to stay cool. If you’re packing extra layers, be sure to pack neutral colors so it matches all of your outfits.

Whetstone Winery was my favorite winery we went to. I seriously felt like we were in Europe here! It was so beautiful and their reds were delicious. The owner was also so kind and welcoming.

High heels aren’t the best idea at a winery unless you’re familiar with the area and know it won’t require too much walking or be too rough of a terrain. When I wear heeled boots, it’s a good idea to test them out beforehand to know how comfortable they are. Nothing worse than being uncomfortable for an entire day of wine tasting.

Nighttime in Napa called for a different vibe when it came to outfits and here’s what I put together! My favorite restaurant was Bottega. If you like Italian food, you have to go to Bottega! I absolutely loved the spaghetti and gnocchi, and will definitely be coming back next time!

For our 5th wedding anniversary we went to Paso Robles to celebrate and it was so fun and sweet. The amount of pictures I capture on a girls weekend versus a romantic getaway is always astronomical!
