100+ Girls Night Movies

Any opportunity to have a girls night makes me so happy! Spending time with your girlfriends is so good for the soul, no matter what you’re doing; whether it’s getting a drink out having a movie night in. A movie marathon is one of my favorite cozy ways to catch up with the girls. Today, I’m sharing a round-up of the best movies to watch for your girls night.

A doll named Barbie who leaves Barbieland to discover the real world and confront her anxieties

The Barbie movie press tour made for such a girly and magical pink summer and I love reminiscing on that time. This movie is so uplifting and fun, it makes for the perfect girly night.

2. Wicked (2024)

Tells the story of the unlikely friendship between Elphaba and Glinda, two young women who meet at Shiz University in the Land of Oz

Another newbie and personal favorite. This movie is so magical and fun to watch, I can’t wait to have a Wicked girls movie night at home soon!

3. Taylor Swift: The Era’s Tour (2023)

A concert film capturing the essence of Taylor Swift’s highly successful “Eras Tour,” a journey through her musical career spanning 17 years

The Era’s tour has just come to an end, but luckily, we can watch it at home whenever we want with a Disney+ subscription! Seeing the concert in person with my girlfriends and family are some of my favorite memories and it’s so special to be able to semi-recreate the moments at home with a cozy movie night.

4. Mean Girls (2004)

A new student, Cady Heron, who navigates the social dynamics of her new public school and the cliques that divide her fellow students

This is one of the funniest movies of all time about high school cliques and it is always one of my favorites to watch on a girl’s night! There’s also the 2024 remake to consider for your girls night.

5. Miss Congeniality (2000)

An FBI agent who goes undercover as a contestant in the Miss United States pageant to investigate a terrorist threat

This is another laugh out loud comedy. I love any Sandra Bullock movie and this film is definitely the best one for a girls night.

6. The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

An aspiring journalist who gets a job at a fashion magazine, but finds herself at the mercy of her demanding editor

Meryl Streep never disappoints and this nostalgic movie is always the right fit. I love her dynamic with Anne Hathaway in this movie and if you haven’t seen this one yet, it’s a must watch.

7. John Tucker Must Die (2006)

A group of high school girls who seek revenge on the basketball team captain for cheating on them

I love this movie because when the girls realize they’re dating the same guy they decide to unite against him and we love a girl power film.

8. Pitch Perfect (2012)

A comedy film about an aspiring music producer who joins an all-female college a cappella group and updates their song selection for a competition

This comedy classic is so funny yet also a great sing along. I love the casting in this movie and I swear it never gets old! The whole movie series is a fun watch.

9. The Other Woman (2014)

Three women who team up to get revenge on a man who is cheating on them

Another girl power film about women teaming up for revenge. Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton make for the best trio.

10. Legally Blonde (2001)

A sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend

This Reese Weatherspoon classic needs no explanation for why it’s made my top 10. We love a woman breaking gender norms and stereotypes!

Mother Daughter Movie Night

Movie nights with my mom and sister are some of my favorite memories growing up and I love nothing more than recreating those nights as an adult with them. These movies always make me want to hold my mom a little closer.
