For me personally, Halloween marks the beginning of the cozy season and nothing says cozy like a movie night. Today, I’m sharing a round-up of movie night ideas for your Halloween movie night party!

85 Halloween Movie Night Ideas

A memorable Halloween movie night must have cute decorations, delicious treats, a cozy setup, and most importantly, a really good Halloween movie! I’ve listed all of my Halloween movie night tips, treat ideas, and my Halloween movie master list.

How To Have A Halloween Movie Night

To kick off spooky season, I decorated my home for Halloween and hosted a Halloween movie night! In preparation for the new Beetlejuice movie, we watched the original Beetlejuice, and I had so much fun putting everything together.

Halloween Movie Night Setup

If you’re not sure how to decorate for a Halloween movie night, just gather some pillows and blankets and put out some spooky decorations! For example, at my Beetlejuice movie night, I brought out my cozy convertible bean bag and set out all of my Halloween pillows, along with some cozy blankets, all from Amazon!

Halloween Decorations

Of course they’re not mandatory, but fun Halloween decorations make a movie night so much more memorable! With my home already decorated for Halloween, it didn’t take much time to set up. I already had my Halloween decorations out and made sure to light all of the candles to really set the mood for a cozy night in.

I love a spooky theme! For my mantel and TV console area, I reused a lot of my decorations from Target. I also added a few new items from Anthropolgie and Target’s current halloween decor collections.

My friends and I have a really fun fall tradition where we give each other boo baskets to get in the Halloween spirit. For our latest Halloween movie night, my friend and I exchanged boo baskets! This step isn’t mandatory of course, but it was such a memorable touch.
