I’m partnering with Ann Taylor for today’s post and am fully embracing all things fall, like pumpkin patches and cozy sweater and scarf outfits. I’ve shared before how much I love fall fashion because of all of the fun layering you can do. One of my favorite layering combos is sweaters and scarves, probably because scarves are the easiest piece to throw on and look put together. I found three adorable scarves in Ann Taylor’s newest collection so I’m showing three outfit ideas using them.
I adore this first outfit so much. The scarf is full of the prettiest neutral colors. I paired it with a grey sweater that has cute button details on the side. It would also look great with a white top. I’m wearing these jeans with all three outfits. They’re definitely my new fav. I love the wash, and they come in petite sizes so there’s no hemming needed! My boots are also new, and the heel has an adorable tortoiseshell print.
Okay, how cute is this next sweater and scarf outfit?! I love a classic white on white combo, but you could easily wear this scarf with any of the accent colors like red or navy. I added in a leopard belt because I’ve wanted to start mixing prints, but I haven’t been bold enough to try it yet. I thought throwing in a leopard belt with the plaid scarf would at least get me started! I’m wearing the same jeans and boots as I wore in my first sweater and scarf outfit. They are super versatile!
My last sweater and scarf outfit is another great neutral look. I always gravitate toward neutral pieces which is amazing for my closet because they’re so easy to mix and match. My cashmere sweater is a bit of a splurge, but it’s such high quality it will be a wardrobe staple for years to come. You could definitely wear either of the other two scarves I featured in this post with it too! That’s another one of my favorite things about sweaters and scarves, you can mix and match them so they let you create so many different outfits.
What’s your favorite layering piece for fall? Let me know in the comments! As always, thanks for stopping by!
