QUICK SHOP

It is truly the summer of crafts! I made charm necklaces with my friends the other day and they turned out so cute! I found so many cute charm packs on Amazon, so it was actually a really affordable activity. I have so many leftover that I can use for other crafts (such as lip gloss keychains and wine markers). Detailed instructions and everything I used are below!

What You’ll Need

Everything was so affordable and I got it all on Amazon! The charms all come in large bulks which makes it so great for large groups – or for future crafts! The charm case on the right is so great for keeping them stored and separated for next time! This 14k gold necklace itself is under $10 but you could also buy a different brand in bulk for parties at an affordable price here.

How to Make the Charm Necklaces

Step 1 – choose charms & order.

I used charms from all 3 packs I bought and chose based on colors and just overall cuteness! I went for a pink and gold coastal theme. Some of the charms had special meanings to me which makes it even more special when I wear it. I also added a cute charm at the clasp that said “Made with Love”. I chose to space my charms with 2 rings in between each item.

Step 2 – attach jump ring to charm.

Using two pliers, I open the jump ring and then slide it through the charm.

Step 3 – attach charm to chain.

If you’re using a chain like mine, then the charms will be directly attached to a ring. However, if the chain was tightly knit, then the charms will slide around and not be separated. Repeat step 2 and 3 for all of the charms.

And just like that it’s all done!

This activity was so relaxing and I loved being so creative. People ask me about my necklace all of the time and it looks so much harder to make than it really was. This is such a great activity for a bridal shower, baby shower, birthday, or even just a girls day!
