Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had such a great time with my family. They flew in for my dress fitting on Thursday which went really well. We did find out I need to go back for two more fittings when we were only expecting one more which wasn’t the best news since my appointments take two hours to get to during LA traffic. First world problem though so trying not to complain. While they were here, we tried a new Mexican restaurant on Friday, and it was so good! If you’re ever near Orange, Gabbi’s Mexican Kitchen is delicious.
On Saturday, I woke up and went to Grit Cycle (the best spin class in OC!), and afterwards my family and I went to Victoria Beach in Laguna. It’s such a beautiful beach and wasn’t too crowded at all. There’s a cute lighthouse and lots of tide pools to explore. For dinner, we went to Sushi Roku. It’s good and close to my house, but I really love that it was recently featured on RHOC. Sometimes I base my dinner plans on places they’ve been to on the show. Please tell me that’s normal!
I wore this cute, little red romper for dinner on Saturday. It’s perfect for a date night. It sold out so quickly, but it’s still available in some petite and tall sizes. Did I mention it’s only $26!? I found a romper that is almost identical in regular and tall, and it’s under $50! I’m also linking some more similar rompers at the bottom of this post. Red has been my go to color lately. It’s my amazing, sassy, generous Grandma’s favorite color so I’m totally okay with that.
I got these Steve Madden booties during the NSale last year. You know if you’re still wearing them a year later, they were a good purchase. They aren’t available anymore, but these Topshop ones are so similar and on sale for $50. My YSL bag was such a steal. I grabbed it at Last Call Neiman Marcus. Such a lucky find! It’s gently used, but totally worth trading “new” for a discount. If you don’t mind paying full price, it’s still available here.
